We were delighted to see Mark, who runs etyres Huntingdon, on the ITV East Anglia News last night! He was taking part in a major safety event to help keep young drivers safe on the roads.
Worryingly, teenage drivers are among the most at risk from dying or being seriously injured on our road and the aim of Young Driver event is to drive home valuable motoring and maintenance lessons.
On the first day of the event, which was free and open to all sixth form college students, Mark hosted popular and informative tutorials, demonstrating how to check tread depths and change a tyre.
He is back again today, where other highlights at the event include car crash simulators, tests to measure reaction times and life-saving first aid demonstrations.
The event was held for the first time last year and was so successful the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Road Safety Partnership decided to repeat it over two days.
