Introducing the Michelin CrossClimate Camping. It is Michelin’s newest, most ambitious all-season tyre to date which promises to deliver high performance for motorhome in any conditions, any time of the year. With a heavy increase in staycations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Michelin saw an opportunity to deliver an incredibly strong-performing and highly reliable tyre to the thousands of people looking for high quality adventures and exciting memories. With over 16,000 new motorhomes registered from July 2020 to June 2021 in the UK there was an obvious need for safe, high-quality, high-performance motorhome tyres. And not only have Michelin delivered this, but they have also set a new standard in terms of motorhome/campervan tyres.
Performance in All Conditions
As an all-season tyre, the Michelin CrossClimate Camping has been designed to cope with even the harshest of winter conditions. However, it has also been engineered for optimal handling on mud, snow, gravel and just about every type of terrain one would expect to encounter when travelling on a motorhome adventure. In addition to this, the tyre comes complete with a special abrasion resistant tread compound which adds an increased layer of durability and removing any doubts one may have about driving in less-than-ideal conditions. Also developed based on truck technology, this means that any unpredictable weather encountered on any journey or adventure can be easily tackled, with the tyre staying in good condition.
The CrossClimate Camping additionally has CP-marked reinforced casing. This means that, as one would expect, the motorhome or campervan can be parked up for a longer duration of time. Once it is parked up, the tyre’s reinforced casing will ensure that the tyre stays ready to move once again from the word go.
