New Tyres ranges added

Joe – tyres Bristol writes:  Etyres are always seeking to improve the service we offer and with this in mind we have added to our tyres range available on our website. Customers are now able  to additionally choose from Kleber, Hankook, Falken and Kumho tyres. These are available in many sizes sometimes including Runflat tyres. Even with these extra ranges , we are unable to list all tyres that may be available at any particular time so by all means give us a call if the tyre you are looking for is not listed.

Tread Carefully with Tyres

Around 17 million people are unclear as to the minimum legal tread depth on their tyres, according to research carried out by the AA for Road Safety Week.  AA Head of Road Safety Andrew Howard said ” The one component connecting a car to the road are its tyres and the fact is that 45% of motorists just don’t know the legal requirement for tyre depth. To drive safely you need the right tyres in good condition as they affect steering, braking and acceleration – particularly at this time of year. On a wet road worn tyres can mean braking distances can increase by up to 70 per cent. It is a legal requirement that tyres are not worn below 1.6mm, there is no mixing of radial and cross-ply tyres and that they are correctly inflated. Any one of these faults can incur substantial fines and points on your licence.”
