Road to romance runs smoother on well-maintained tyres
This Valentine’s Day we thought we’d remind our customers that the course of true love can run a lot smoother if you show your tyres some TLC.
They say single people searching for love are willing to go the extra mile to meet the perfect partner - even driving more than 60 miles for a date!
But car-driving Casanova’s could get off to a bumpy start if they neglect their tyres, because punctures and blow-outs could stall plans for a romantic date.
So if you’re planning on heading off for a romantic Valentine’s evening tonight, take a few minutes to give your tyres the once-over - unless you want to run the risk of crying on the hard shoulder!
Check for signs of damage, cracks or bulges, you can always swap it over with the spare for the night and then give us a call in the morning to arrange for a new one to be fitted.
Also, check make sure your tyres are properly inflated, this will make them safer to drive on -especially since the road and weather conditions have been so unpredictable recently.
