The tyres industry will focus its attention on innovative recycling methods at the 17th annual European Tyre Recycling Association Conference next month.
Data on treatment options for old tyres will be compared and analysed in terms of three types of collection systems in force in different areas.
The annual conference, which will take place from 17 to 19 March 2010 in the Crowne Plaza Europa Hotel in Brussels, includes a variety of plenary sessions and special activities.
Discussions around recycling will include the results of several research projects and new application developments that are ready for market.
Special activities include the creation of a series of market scenarios for the future, a Recyclers round table, debates, discussion seminars to increase awareness and knowledge.
ETRA is the only european association devoted exclusively to tyre recycling. Members include the public and private sectors involved in the environmentally sound management and valorisation of post – consumer tyres.
