etyres Isle of Wight were delighted to take part in the popular Isle of Wight Classic Car Show last Sunday handing out advice, leaflets and cupcakes!
The sun shone down on the thousands of visitors who flocked Ryde esplanade for the 15th annual show which featured classic, vintage and even American muscle cars from around the UK and across Europe.
etyres were even able to come to the aid of a car enthusiast who had brought his 1937 Riley over from Ashford in Kent, but suffered a nasty puncture en route. Despite not charging the visitor for the repair, he generously donated £20 to the Earl Mountbatten Hospice, which the event was raising money for.
So smiles all round!
Dozens of etyres branded Tickety-Boo Cupcakes also went down a storm at the event as visitors munched on the treats while getting advice about tyre prices and having a nosey around the etyres van, which is equipped with all the latest equipment and technology to fit tyres, carry out puncture repairs, service and replace Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) and install Tyron safety bands.
Rob, who launched etyres Isle of Wight in 2007, said: “We really enjoyed being part of such a great event which showcased not only our mobile tyre fitting service, but also the beauty of Ryde.
“We always welcome the chance to offer tyre safety advice and chat to motorists about the many advantages of using our service. Not only do we spare our customers the hassle of going to a garage or tyre depot, but our prices are always highly competitive, so we can save them money too.”
