The Sumitomo WT200 is a winter tyre for small and mid-sized passenger cars and SUVs. The company developed the WT200 as a result of the growing interest in, and the increasing demands placed on, modern winter tyres.
The WT200 features a cutting-edge rubber compound, combining a high silicone content with modern polymer compounds. This innovative compound provides excellent handling in both rain and snow.
Furthermore, the inclusion of three-dimensional, high-density sipes in the WT200's tread pattern ensures excellent performance in wintry conditions and improved traction on ice and snow.
The EU tyre label ratings given to the WT200 are, depending on tyre size, between “C” and “F” for fuel economy and “C” for wet grip. Moreover, as a relatively quiet tyre, the WT200 has received ratings of “1” or “2” for external rolling noise.
