The Sumitomo SL727 is part of the company's new range. It is a budget summer tyre for vans, transporters and other light commercial vehicles.
It features a wear-resistant rubber compound. This provides increased mileage and improved economic efficiency, as a result of low costs per kilometre and a reduced amount of downtime needed for maintenance.
This innovative compound also, importantly, offers improved driving performance.
Furthermore, the SL727 is suitable for heavy commercial usage thanks to its robust carcass with a reinforced core bead area. This provides high levels of durability and damage resistance, which is useful for the kinds of demands placed on commercial vehicle tyres.
The SL727 has a wet grip rating of "C" to "E" and a fuel efficiency rating of "C" to "E", depending on the tyre size. Emitting an average amount of noise, the SL727 has also received a noise label of "2".
