A toddler’s life was put at risk when a gang of tyres slashing thugs went on a tyres wrecking spree, according to her distraught family.
Little three-year-old Sophie Atkinson has a rare form of epilepsy when means she can slip into a coma at any time of the day or night.
When an attack occurs it is quicker for the family to administer drugs and rush her to hospital themselves rather than call and wait for an ambulance.
But last week when vandals slashed the tyres on her family’s two car they would have been stranded and helpless if Sophie had had an attack.
Her granddad Bryan Atkinson said: “The person who did this needs to be put to shame. I’m sure someone around here knows who it was.”
Our tyres fitters see the aftermath of these mindless tyre-slashing attacks all the time. The vandals leave families stranded, children are late for school, motorists cannot get to work and they have the hassle of getting new tyres fitted.
But it is at times like this that etyres, the UKs leading online tyres retailer, can ease the strain of having new tyres fitted and the cost.
Etyres operates a mobile fitting service which means it fits the tyres at the customers home or workplace and because overheads are small, the prices are kept low – up to 40% cheaper than leading high street tyre depots.
