News that the police have stepped up night time patrols in Warminster after a second spate of tyres-slashing this year, are probably little comfort to the residents.
Several cars had their tyres punctured last week, but back in February 36 tyres were slashed and several car windows were damaged.
Inspector Dave Minty of Warminster and Westbury Police said: “There is no rhyme or reason to this attack. This damage is costing people a lot of money and is potentially very dangerous for those involved.
“This is a priority for us and we will be increasing patrols in the area.
“We are doing everything we can and we appreciate how important it is to people.”
Our etyres fitters are regularly called out by the victims of mindless tyre slashers and our mobile service can at least help to ease some of the inconvenience and expense.
We fit the replacements at a location of the customers choice – at home or work – and our prices are up to 40% lower than the leading high street chains.
