Nobody likes having to fork out for new tyres, even when you have had plenty of wear out of them and they have lasted a good few years.
But for the victims of tyre-slashing vandals having to shell out for new tyres is a double blow.
So we have every sympathy with the residents of a close in Bewbush, Sussex, where a vandal slashed the tyres of an astonishing 31 vehicles in an overnight crime spree.
Virtually every car parked in the road was damaged, with some two-car households having to replace eight tyres.
Our etyres fitters are regularly called out to repair punctures or replace tyres which have been vandalised.
There are two major advantages to using etyres in this situation. We operate a mobile fitting service which means our customers do not have to risk causing any more damage to their tyre by driving on it to get to a tyre depot.
And our low overheads mean we can offer prices much lower than the leading high street tyre depots.
It does not compensate for the cost and inconvenience of having a car vandalised, but it can ease some of the pain.
