The eleven finalists have been announced for Brigdestone tyres contest to become their new e-reporter.
The list features aspiring sports reporters from nine European countries, including two writers from the UK.
The first British finalist to be given the chance to demonstrate her talents in the annual tyres makers competition is Stephanie Black, who heads to Silverstone on the weekend of June 19 to 21.
Several weeks later, the second UK hopeful Kate Goodacre will report on the GP2 proceedings in German between July 10 and 12.
Eight finalists are attending a Formula One race weekend to follow the GP2 Series this season, while three others will get the opportunity to witness the two-wheeled action of MotoGP.
All the finalists will report on the Bridgestone-supported championships for Bridgestone’s bridgestone.eu/e-reporter website and interview riders or drivers to fine-tune their journalistic skills.
Gerry Duffy, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, for Bridgestone Europe, said recently: ‘Bridgestone is continually looking at ways to invest in the community and is very proud of the e-reporter programme and achievement in terms of developing careers.’
