The annual Top Gear Live show is about to kick off at Birmingham’s NEC and we’ve just heard that Maxxis are planning on getting in on the action.
The tyres manufacturer will be joining Jeremy Clarkson, James May, Richard Hammond and The Stig to take part in a programme of awe-inspiring activities in the Live Action Arena and the Track.
Maxxis will also be hoping to raise its brand profile even higher with a stand in the automotive exhibition.
And as if that wasn’t enough, the ubiquitous Maxxis Babes will be on hand to chat to fans and pose for photos.
On the track, Maxxis will also be represented by Team Japspeed, the drift outfit it sponsors in the Maxxis British Drift Championship – the UK’s premier drift series, for which it is also title sponsor and official partner.
Team Japspeed will be showcasing its drivers’ skills, alongside the grip and endurance of the Maxxis MAZ1 Drift tyre in a competition the company anticipates will get the crowd on its feet.
We can’t wait to see Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni in the Maxxis-sponsored Subaru Impreza, fitted with a 2.5 Toyota 1JZ engine producing 470bhp, go head-to-head against team mate Shane Lynch in the Monster Energy-liveried Nissan Silvia V8 S15 in a show that will be staged every day in the Live Action Arena and Track from 25 to 28 October.
