TyreSafe has organised an event to get to grips with hot topics in the world of tyres and road safety.
The UK’s leading tyres safety group is hosting the briefing at the Ardencote Manor hotel in Warwickshire on 3 May and part-worn tyres and tyre labelling will head the agenda.
As well as providing an overview of the important changes facing the industry, the event will also allow TyreSafe to promote its forthcoming campaigns.
Stuart Jackson, chairman of TyreSafe, said: “This is a great opportunity to explore some pressing road safety issues and we would encourage as many connected to the industry to come along.
“Indeed, there are many exciting and important developments expected over the next 12 months, so perhaps more than ever this is a must attend event for anyone with an interest in tyres and road safety.”
Specifically, the briefing includes a review of TyreSafe’s imminent part-worn tyre campaign and the launch of its young drivers and fleet initiatives.
There will also be an overview of the new tyre labelling regulations that will come into force later this year. Sussex Police will also deliver a case study with Chandlers BMW about how they worked closely together during last October to improve tyre safety at a local level.
