Early figures show that the online sales boom continued to defy the recession this Christmas – and etyres saw its tyres orders soar by a staggering 50 per cent.
Our record-breaking sales have been rocketing as more consumers realise they can save time, hassle and money by ordering their tyres online with us.
Traditional high street tyre chains, like Kwik Fit and National, have expensive depots to run and their prices are fixed to cover large overheads.
However, because etyres offers a free mobile fitting service, our operating costs are much lower and we pass the savings on to our customers in the form of cheaper prices – up to 40% down on the leading fast-fit firms.
The latest studies show that as more consumers surf the net to find the cheapest deals and confidence grows in ordering on the web, online sales have continued to go from strength to strength, according to new figures from Retail Decisions.
It said yesterday that a strong Christmas trading performance helped to drive a 21 per cent surge in online sales to an estimated £49.8bn last year, with more than 33 million Britons having bought products on the net.
