Sometimes our customers order new tyres thinking theirs are close to the legal tread depth limit of 1.6mm – however, our fitters are always happy to point out when they still have plenty more miles of wear left in them.
And that’s exactly what happened to Mr S Croft when he called on the services of our tyres branch in Bournemouth – this is what he said in an email to our head office: “I am writing to you to praise the excellent service I have received from GARY STOUT, having phoned the evening before he arrived at the appointed time and when I explained that I was confused about how to measure tread depth, I showed him the front tyres on my car.
“The first thing he did was measure the tread depth and inform me that I in fact had 4mm of tread remaining and did not need new tyres just yet. He gave me the option of keeping the new tyres then phoning him when I needed them fitting or arranging a full refund on my credit card.
“I will not hesitate to use etyres in the future and I will to recommend you to my friends. Many thanks S. Croft
“PS Gary also spent some time talking with my father giving helpfull advise and recommending tyres for his Volvo.”
