Kumho tyres has scooped another prestigious European magazine award for its trophy cabinet.
For the second year in succession, Kumho tyres took first place in an independent tyres test organised by the respected Russian publication, Za Rulem.
The Kumho SOLUS KH17 was judged outright winner of the magazines test of 15 major tyres brands. The extensive trial included all key disciplines including braking; steering response, safety, noise level, fuel consumption and wear resistance on both wet and dry roads.
The Za Rulem team commented: ‘Kumho’s SOLUS KH17 is strongly recommended and boasts excellent performance in all weather conditions as well as remarkable fuel efficiency. Kumho’s second consecutive victory in our annual test proves last year’s result was well deserved.’
Roger Jenkins, managing director of Kumho Europe Technical Centre in Birmingham, said: ‘Already this year we have received excellent reviews from four of Europe’s top motoring publications. This is further proof of the ever-increasing quality and technology of our products.
‘The results of such tests carry great weight in the marketplace and will do much to support Kumho’s aim of becoming one of the world’s top five tyre manufacturers by 2015.’
