Ford of Britain is the latest big-name company to actively demonstrate its commitment to tyres safety by joining TyreSafe.
As part of its well-established UK Corporate Social Responsibility programme, the motor company has joined the UK’s leading tyres safety organisation.
Through its membership, Ford of Britain will actively support TyreSafe’s campaigns, helping to educate drivers of both car and commercial vehicles about the importance of proper, regular tyre maintenance.
It will also provide the group with other valuable insight to help improve road safety.
Stuart Jackson, chairman of TyreSafe, said: “It’s fantastic to be able to welcome Ford of Britain to TyreSafe.
“Their involvement and support will be a valuable addition to the organisation and I’m sure it will help make our campaigns even more effective.”
Jon Wellsman, Director Customer Service for Ford, added: “As our latest models demonstrate, vehicle safety in all its forms is at the heart of Ford research and development.
“Properly maintained tyres play a vital role in vehicle safety and we are delighted to lend our support to the TyreSafe campaign.”
