etyres has scooped a top accolade in the UK’s leading franchise awards.
The online mobile tyres company received the 2011 bfa/HSBC Franchisor of the Year bronze award in recognition of its achievements as one of the UK’s most entrepreneurial and ethical franchises.
Tony Bowman, managing director of etyres, said: “Building an innovative, efficient and sustainable business has helped us to attract and retain some fantastic franchise owners, which has been the key to our growing success as a Franchisor.
“Receiving this award is wonderful recognition of this, as well as a fantastic morale boost for our whole team.”
Brian Smart, director general of the BFA, commented on the winners: “This has been another inspirational year for franchising.
“Each year the awards unearth fantastic success stories and demonstrations of ethical franchising at work.
“Our judging panel were presented with some of the best examples of innovation, brand development and franchisee support that they have ever seen and it has been a privilege to recognise these truly outstanding franchisors. Each of our winners is a credit to the sector.”
The Gold Award went to McDonald’s and care provider Home Instead Senior Care was awarded Silver.
