etyres Cardiff rubbed shoulders with operatic royalty and one of their favourite customers, Judith Howarth, at the weekend!
Gareth first met Ms Howarth back in the summer when the lovely and hugely talented soprano suffered two punctured tyres. After fitting a couple of replacements at the Millennium Centre, where she was rehearsing with the Welsh National Opera, Ms Howarth took a few moments out of her busy schedule to praise Gareth’s service on her Twitter Page.
She tweeted: “Thanks so much Gareth@etyres.co.uk. Putting on 2 new tyres at millennium centre. Fab service with humour and a smile”.
On later hearing about Gareth’s regret at not having asked if he could take a photograph with her, Judith invited him and his lovely partner Angela to a spectacular performance of Die Fledermaus, which is currently touring the UK.
“It was a night I will never forget!” Gareth revealed. “It was the first time I had experienced live opera and it was fantastic, I can’t recommend it highly enough.”
But the highlight of their evening came when Judith extended the invitation even further and welcomed her two special guests backstage during the interval…so Gareth could finally get that photo with her!
The delight on Gareth’s face sums up the moment and also provides an insight into our etyres Cardiff owner’s personality. Although Gareth was obviously very taken with the world-renowned soprano, it is fair to say he doesn’t just reserve the high level of service for just his famous customers! A lovely chap, with an infectious smile and charm, he has built up an extremely loyal customer base, because he can always be relied on to provide an outstanding mobile tyre fitting and puncture repair service, which keeps them returning and singing the praises of his popular branch!
