Nexen has just picked up another clutch of plaudits for its tyres, this time in a number of German motoring magazine tyre tests.
Last month we reported that the Korean tyres manufacturer won a world-renowned design award, proving a consistent trend of achievements in global markets for its design development strategy.
The Red Dot Design Award 2012, one of the top three design awards in the world, was given in recognition for the N9000’s pattern design.
Now the latest news from Nexen is it was awarded second place in the summer tyre test carried out by promobil, the motorhome magazine, as well as coming 11th out of 50 in the extensive ‘brake’ test carried out by Auto Bild, while Auto Bild “sportscars” awarded Nexen with the “recommended” grade.
Dr. Hendrik Stevens, manager at the Nexen Europe Technical Center in Frankfurt/Hoechst, said: “These test results confirm that the efforts we are making to achieve the best tyre quality in the demanding European market are finally paying off.”
