Summer Tyre

Summer tyres use a different compound designed for temperatures above 7°C. They are designed for improved handling during summer temperatures in both the wet and dry.

Caravan

Caravan tyres are designed with a reinforced sidewall, which makes them more durable. This also ensures the tyres can handle the extra weight of the vehicle and its contents.

Trailer

Trailer tyres are specially designed with a reinforced sidewall and thinner tread than regular tyres to make them suitable for use on a following vehicle. These tyres cannot handle speeds greater than 80mph.

Fuel Rating image

Fuel economy ranges from A-G, with the green ‘A’ rating being the most economic and the red ‘G’ rating being the worst.

Wet Rating image

Tyres with an ‘A’ wet grip rating have reduced stopping distances in rain and ‘G’ rated tyres will require longer stopping distances.

Decibel Rating image

The higher the decibel level (number rating) of a tyre, the louder the rolling noise will be. Quieter tyres have lower decibels.
