TYRE PRESSURES

Incorrect pressure maintenance, particularly under-inflation, may result in tyre damage. Pressures should be checked regularly at least once a week and always before long distance journeys.

Pressures should always be checked when tyres are cold. A pressure increase of 3 to 6 psi (0.2 to 0.4 bar) can result after extensive driving when the tyres become heated-up. Do not reduce pressures in these conditions.

All pressures shown are for vehicles under normal load conditions and running at normal speeds. For laden conditions and fast motorway driving the pressures should be increased. Consult the vehicle handbook for details.
