Background Information on Honda

Honda is headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. Founder, Soichiro Honda, a self-taught engineer, worked for Toyota before establishing Honda. Due to a petrol shortage during World War II, Honda was unable to use his car, and attached a small engine to his bicycle that led to a venture building motorcycles, which grew to manufacture cars from 1963.
