The Premium Contact, "ContiPremiumContact" is marketed as 'Bionic Tyres' by Continental. These have been designed to replace the ContiExoContact CP tyres. ContiPremiumContact features:
  • The contact patch of this tyre widens during braking, which transmits greater force to the road surface. When not braking, the tyre remains narrow during normal driving to give the best protection against aquaplaning.
  • Improved driving comfort, and better safety, results from the enhanced asymmetric tread pattern.
  • The premium contact has better pressure distribution on the ground, which means better and more even wear on tread which increases the useful life of the tyre.
  • Water drainage has been optimised by angled sipes and wide grooves around the circumference.
