Resetting Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS)

The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is there to warn you when the pressure in any of the vehicle’s tyres drops significantly from the manufacturer’s recommended level. The system uses the ABS sensors on the vehicle to measure wheel speed and from this can deduce if any tyre has a reduced circumference or pressure. If you adjust your tyre pressures or have your tyres changed, the TPMS system may need to be reset.
