In order to help you find the right tyres for your vehicle we have classified our car tyre manufacturers into three categories: premium; mid-range; economy.

When deciding which brand of car tyre to choose it is important to take into account how the tyre performs in relation to handling, durability, noise emissions, wet and dry grip. You will also need to take your personal driving requirements and style into consideration to ensure you get the correct tyres for your needs. etyres supply a range of premium branded tyres including: Bridgestone; Continental; Dunlop; Goodyear; Michelin; Pirelli. Tyre manufacturers that fall into the mid-range category include Hankook, Maxxis and B.F.Goodrich. The economy range provides cost-effective tyres from tyre manufacturers including Autofrip, Enduro and Primewell.

The three categories of premium, mid-range and economy have been determined as a result of etyres longstanding history and experience within the tyre industry. Tyre labels and the following characteristics are also taken into account when determining which category a tyre manufacturer belongs to: handling; rolling resistance; grip; wet grip; fuel efficiency; noise emission; tread pattern. Premium brands such as Goodyear tyres, Michelin tyres and Continental tyres spend more on raw materials, design and testing than economy ranges, this means you are investing in safety, quality and performance. Please note these rankings are based on an average of the tyres the brands manufacture. As such there may be occasional differences, for instance a midrange tyre having a lower rating than an economy tyre, or upper economy brands being higher in price than lower mid-range brands.
