Mr C writes – E Tyres Wisbech has stocked up on Winter Tyres. After last years snow which caught everyone in Wisbech and the surrounding area by surprise, E Tyres has decided to get hold of more Winter Tyres. Winter Tyres, or as some may call them Snoo Tyres, are vital if you want to be safe on the roods this winter. Winter or Snow Tyres are made of an amazing compound that can withstand chilly winter temperatures. A normal tyre will harden and sometimes totally freeze making it more like plastic than rubber, this makes it even harder for the tyres to grip, making the tyres slippy and very dangerous.
Also, watch out for those pot holes too if this winter is anything like the last!

Ben says that he is seeing a big increase in tyres damaged by the increasing amount of pot holes in Cambridgshire and Norfolk. This problem, it would seem is only going to get worse as councils cut back on road maintainence in the year ahead. One of Ben’s customers was very unfortunate in having the same pot hole damage her tyres a week apart. Luckily Ben was able to repair both tyres quickly. Mrs P will be taking another route home in future. Seriously it is a big problem nationally and if you do hit a pot hole examine your wheel and tyres straitaway and if a repair or new tyre is required E- tyres can deal with problem quickly and, as always at your home or place of work. As we all know it can be so time consuming to take your vehicle to a repair or tyre centre.
