Are you planning to go away for a few days in the half term? If you are then you may want to check you tyres now. The last thing you want is to be held up by having to get your tyres replaced just before you are setting off on your journey. Have a good look now to see if you can see any lumps or cracks in your tyres and check the tread depth by using a 20p coin if the rim of the coin can be seen the your tread depth is very low and you will need the tyre replaced.

A tyre safety organisation recently brought 50 part worn tyres and a staggering 98 per cent of the tyres were sold illegally. One of the tyres that were brought was even described by an independent examiner as “having the potential to kill”, and more than a third of the tyres were dangerous.
