Mark has just visited me at my work place to fit two new front tyres on my Mini. May I just congratulate Mark on his professionalism and friendliness.  He called me to ask when it would be convenient to fit the tyres, he called when he arrived. He was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. I am very impressed by the speed of service etyres offers.  I now have two new tyres to enjoy and which will help my car pass its MOT tomorrow.

Just wanted to say thanks for sorting out my tyre last week. A friend recommended etyres to me as I hate going to tyre centres where women just get treated as idiots and ripped off whilst being left to read 3yr old magazines in dirty waiting rooms for hours on end. Your fitter came to my home so I could carry on working. There was no attempt to try to sell me more tyres, brakes etc, just a professional and friendly service at a great price – thanks!

Tyres still in the top 3 MOT failures

May 17, 2011

New figures from the DOT show most MOT failures are down to faulty lights with tyres coming a close second followed by windscreen problems in third place. Overall MOT failure rates are at 30% but this could be massively reduced if the owner carried out simple visual checks prior to the MOT. Replacing bulbs and wiper blades should not be beyond the average motorist, nor should spotting cracks or chips in the windscreen or worn and dangerous tyres. One area where motorists can be forgiven for failing to spot problems is with tyres and wheels damaged by pot holes. At etyres we are still seeing huge numbers of tyres and wheels damaged following last winter’s ice on our roads. Many motorists are unaware of the fault as the problem is often on the inside of the wheel and therefore very difficult to spot.
