Time to check your caravan and motorhome tyres

Joanthan – etyres (Sleaford) writes:- It’s that time of year again, where thoughts turn towards planning your summer holidays. If you are the owner of a caravan or motorhome, it is extremely important to check the condition of your tyres in order to make sure they are up to the job. Caravan and motorhome tyres are particularly susceptible to damage from UV rays causing, cracking and crazing and unseen deterioration of the rubber compound. This damage can cause premature blowouts and punctures, as the tyres can not dicipate the heat caused by normal use as they should. A caravan tyre blowout can in extreme cases cause it to flip at high speeds. Please thoroughly check your motorhome or caravan tyres before embarking on your holiday. Or alternatively give us a call and we can arrange to come out to check them for you. A little money spent now can save you a whole lot more in the future.
