If you call a local tyre depot they will do their best to sell you tyres. They may tell you how popular a particular tyre is, what ratings it has, what a good price it is etc. What they won’t tell you is that they are trying to sell you it because it’s a tyre they have in stock and want to move it on. They also won’t tell you that you may have to sit in their waiting room for a couple of hours and wait your turn to have it fitted. There is a better way of buying tyres.
