Centre-less alloy wheels

My last job today was fitting two tyres to a Citroen C5 on Heyhouses road. The alloy wheels were centre-less which makes balancing them much more time consuming than regular wheels as they won’t just slide onto the spindle on the balancing machine. Fortunately however all our vans are equipped with a centre-less wheel adaptor. We make no extra charge for the additional time it takes to get this particular design of alloy wheel balanced correctly. Customers with either Peugeot or Citroen models with these wheels can be assured we can balance their wheels too.

Norma – tyres Lytham writes: Several Audi models including the Audi A1, A8, RS3, R8 and both sporty Quattro models will be fitted with tyres developed by tyre manufacturer Continental in Hanover, after receiving approval from Audi. The luxurious Audi A8 will feature tyres up to 21″ diameter and the Quattro models will be equipped with Continental’s high-tech Conti Sport Contact 5P as well as the more economical Conti Premium Contact 2. The Audi A1 is being fitted with the Conti Premium Contact 2 and the Conti Sport Contact 3 with a choice of 15″, 16″ and 18″ tyres sizes. For the RS3 and R8 models, 19″ diameter tyres have been approved.

Last Friday we met a customer near Lytham train station who was en route to work in Warton. He had suffered a blow out the previous evening on the M55 and was using his space saver spare tyre. He rang etyres to see if we could assist and within a couple of hours we had fitted a brand new Pirelli and he was able to continue his journey.
