PIRELLI 4X4 TYRES

Looking back at our data it is interesting to see that we fit more Pirelli 4×4 tyres in Hendon then any other make of 4×4  tyre. The Pirelli range of 4×4 tyres is standard fitment to cars such as the Land Rover and Range Rover and also can be found on Volkswagen 4×4 cars such as the Touareg. Other make of tyres can also be fitted such as Bridgestone, Continental and Michelin, but in Hendon the Pirelli 4×4 tyre seems to be king!

Our fleet of fitting vans can fit and balance your new tyres at home or at your place of work at a time to suit you and we can handle the largest of 4×4 tyres up to 23 inches.

Matt – tyres NW4 writes: To see extended service from your car tyres – not to mention the best ride and road holding – it is essential that you inspect your car tyres and check that they are properly inflated at least once a week.

To help you set the tyres at the correct pressure many car manufactures note the correct pressure setting on a plate or sticker on the driver’s door frame or sometimes on the fuel filler flap.

The size of the tyres is usually shown followed by the pressure setting. Sometimes two tyre pressure settings are given, one for normal load and one for higher load when you are carrying extra passengers or a boot full of luggage.

Don’t forget setting your tyres at the correct pressure keeps you safe and gives much better MPG.

It also reduces CO2 emissions, which means if your car tyres are properly inflated you are on the road to being a more environmentally-aware motorist!
