Benny boy writes – After last years snow shocker which caught everyone by surprise, E Tyres has decided to stock up on Winter Tyres in preparation for the mega high demand. Winter Tyres, or as some may call them Snoo Tyres, are vital if you want extra grip on the roads this winter. Winter Tyres are made of special Winter compound that can withstand lower winter temperatures, a normal tyre will harden and sometimes totally freeze in winter making it more like plastic than rubber.  This makes it even harder for the tyres to grip in snow conditions, making the tyres a bit slippy.

Mr Prendergast- 64, in Southery has had 4 winter tyres fitted and is delighted with them. “It’s not snowed yet, but I’m ready. Oh yes!” he said.

Also, watch out for those pot holes! If this winter is anything like the last the roads will be like driving on hard, black, swiss cheese!
