Free Puncture Repairs – But Dont Leave It Too late!

Paul – Tyres Chippenham writes: Did you Know Etyres do free tyres puncture repairs for their previous customers? To be eligible all you have to do is buy your tyres from us. Once you become a customer you will never have to pay for a puncture repair again! This service is not limited to just the tyres we supply and fit. It covers any tyres on any car you own. No other company offers this as a benefit to the customer; that’s why Etyres is the UK’s No 1. But keep this in mind. Should you be the victim of a puncture we can only repair it if it is within the 75% band from the centre line of the tyres tread and it must only be minor damage such as a screw or a nail. We cannot repair outside of this area or any damage to the side walls. As a rough guide if it’s in the tyres tread and within an inch of the outside edge we probably cant fix it. There are further details on the web site. Don’t leave it and put off getting it repaired. If it doesn’t go down straight away and is just a slow puncture it is vital you keep the tyre inflated if at all possible. Don’t drive on it flat or seriously under inflated; fit the spare if it has one. Driving under pressure tyres may cause irreparable damage to the inners of the tyres. If that happens, you will have to buy new tyres. But you have the comfort of knowing Etyres are always cheap for tyres.

But you can still get great performing tyres from the not so well known brand names and save yourself a packet! Brands of tyres well worth considering are either Barum, Nexen or Falken tyres. Barum are owned by Continental. All three brands are available in a range of sizes and tread patterns that will fit most cars on the road today. Each are excellent value all round tyres offering good grip and wear qualities for the price. Nexen N3000 and N6000 patterns are high performance tyres that seem to be favoured by Audi and Mercedes drivers; while BMW owners have a preference for Falken FK452 as they provide excellent handling in the wet or dry and will last longer than some of the better known brand name tyres. According to the Tyrereviews web site, 86% of drivers who have had Falkens fitted would buy them again. So if you want to save a bit more than you already do with Etyres, give them a go, you won’t be disappointed.
