BRIDGEND PRAISE

“It’s the first time I’ve used etyres and it won’t be the last. Quick, easy and well-priced. No more tyre depots for me.” Mr D – Brackla 29th January 2013

“What a great new service to the area. I had my new tyres fitted while I sat in my lounge and had tea!” Mrs G, Broadlands. 4th November 2012

“Gareth was able to mend my puncture, and it was not necessary to buy a new tyre after all. How refreshingly honest! I shall be using etyres from now on.” Mrs R, Bridgend. 15th September 2012

“I was kept informed at every stage and delighted with the price of my tyres, and he came to me.” Mrs L, Cowbridge. 3rd September 2012

“My tyre replacing experience just changed from depressing to ‘hey, that was actually pleasant’! Why?…because I rang etyres and instead of having to sit in a noisy, oily workshop while my tyres were changed I sat in the comfort of my own home while my personal tyre changer, Gareth, arrived as arranged and attended to my car on my drive. I didn’t even need to leave my house, what a bonus, especially for the slightly older lady! I thought I might have to pay a little extra for this service but no, I paid no more than I would have done at a local tyre fitters. Thank you, etyres. Will be using you again.” Continental Eco, Vauxhall Corsa for Mrs L in Bridgend 24 August 2012

“Please pass on our thanks to your tyre fitter for his friendly and professional service.  He arrived promptly, fitted by two new tyres and check over my wife’s tyres for her too.  We will certainly be using you again.” N Richard, Bridgend – 15 August 2012

Gareth, tyres – Bridgend writes: In these hard financial times you may be tempted to buy part worn tyres. Before you do, there are a few considerations. Part worn tyres may be unsafe and uneconomic in the long run. A recent survey revealed that 91% of secondhand tyres fitted were sold illegally. Part worn tyres should only be sold by a licenced dealer and should be stamped as ‘part worn’. This ensures they have been properly tested prior to fitting. Ask yourself why these tyres were removed from the original vehicle; had it been involved in an accident ? Are the tyres too old for fitting? Are they really cheaper? Well the answer is no. A new tyre has 8mm of tread; a part worn tyre may have as little as 2mm (1.6mm being the legal limit). So, a £30 part worn tyre in the long run will work out more expensive than a £50 brand new one. Why take the risk? It makes sense to ask Gareth or Angela at etyres Bridgend for a quote.

Angela, tyres – Bridgend writes, Is Spring coming? Are you driving more over Easter? Don’t forget to give your tyres a check over here in Bridgend before you start. The tyre tread legal limit is 1.6mm although all manufacturers advise a tyre is changed at 3mm. The stopping distance on tyres less than 3mm is twice as long! Check! Our tyre fitter at etyres here in Bridgend is always pleased to advise you on the state of your tyres. Safe motoring, and a Happy Easter !
