If you have hit a deep pothole, there is a chance your tyre has been damaged.
It is wise to check your tyres regularly to see if any bulges have appeared.
If so, you should change your tyre immediately, but don’t forget to take a picture of the tyre and the pothole. In many cases you will be able to claim the cost of a new tyre back from your council if you have sufficient evidence that the damage was caused by a pothole.
