Angela, tyres – Barry writes, Don’t forget to give your tyres a once over here in Barry before you set off on any longer than usual journeys over Easter. Check your tyres are correctly inflated. Tyre pressures can usually be found on the driver’s. door sill. Or the inside of the petrol cap, as well as in your handbook. Give your tyres a visual check. Any cuts, lumps, bumps or perishing is an obvious sign of a damaged tyre which may need to be renewed. The legal minimum tyre tread depth is 1.66mm . All manufacturers however recommend a minimum of 3mm or stopping distances may double. 3 simple checks. Safe motoring. ‘Happy Easter’

Angela, tyres-Barry writes: Well after the snow it’s inevitable that the pot holes in the county are becoming bigger and more prolific! Remember if your wheels or tyres are damaged by these, you are only able to make a claim against the local authorities if your specific pot hole has already been reported. We at etyres can come along if your tyres are damaged by a pot hole and replace your tyre at a suitable time and place. Call us for tyre prices.
