More about Hounslow West London
Hounslow is the principal town of the London Borough
of Hounslow in West London. It is a suburban development
situated 10.6 miles (17 km) west south-west of Charing
Cross.
The centre of Hounslow is focussed around the
pedestrianised high street and a shopping centre known
as the Treaty Centre, which includes multiple stories
with a mix of shops, cafes and the Hounslow local
library. It also has a multi-story carpark which
provides valuable parking spaces for the town centre.
The town centre is currently undergoing some
re-development with an ASDA supermarket and cinema being
built in the vicinity of the post office.
The area is served by the Piccadilly Line of the London
Underground at Hounslow Central tube station, Hounslow

On Hounslow Heath the Cavalry Barracks, Hounslow, was
one of 40 barracks built in 1793 as part of the
preparations to meet possible invasion by the French.

Heathrow Airport, itself located in the London Borough
