We have just received a glowing email from a delighted customer in York who has praised his local branch for their ‘honestly and efficiency’ because they were able to repair one of his tyres instead of selling him a new one.
Just days after the AA published a survey revealing that two thirds of motorists expect to get ripped off by garages, Mr Lilley wrote: “I would like to say how refreshing it is to see such honesty and efficiency.
“We have used etyres previously on another car and were impressed with the service and so immediately contacted you when this current problem arose.
“The process was hassle free – ordering was easy, I could choose the tyre and the price from a good selection and compare. I got a call to check the arrangement times were accurate. The chap rang to see whether it was OK to arrive a little earlier. He checked the tyre and found that it was possible to repair rather than replace it.
“He worked efficiently to repair it and probably deprived himself of a sale.
“If the company has some kind of commendation scheme I would be grateful if he could be commended. I will certainly recommend etyres to my neighbours, friends and colleagues and use the company again if the need arises. Many thanks.”
