Fancy helping to drive home the message about the importance of tyres safety? Well here’s your chance.
TyreSafe, the UK’s leading tyres safety organisation, is calling for the public to enter its online competition by naming the four new animated crash test dummies it has just ‘adopted’.
The models will be used to help promote tyre safety and will give drivers a host of tyre safety tips, information and advice.
But TyreSafe wants to personalise the dummies to help get their safety message across by giving them names.
Stuart Jackson, chairman of TyreSafe, said: “Our dummies, which will feature in a range of online movies, posters and leaflets, are smarter than you might think as they will play an important part in helping reduce the number of tyre related accidents on our roads.
“This competition will be a great way of bringing them to life and help to educate even more drivers about the importance of looking after their tyres properly. We’ve already had some fun thinking of some possible names ourselves and we cannot wait for the entries to start coming in. I’m sure that there will be some very clever ones.”
To enter the competition, simply log onto the TyreSafe website, www.tyresafe.org/thenamegame, to give the family of four crash test dummies individual first names, along with a family name. Full terms and conditions of the competition can also be found on the website.
Entries must be submitted before 5pm on 31st March and the winning entry will be notified by email within seven days.
