The new Virgin Formula 1 team has announced its multi-year partnership with a tyres recycling company.
Carbon Green enters the sport as its first green technology sponsor
It is a global company that develops and commercialises its advanced technologies to the benefit of the environment and the countries and communities in which it operates.
Its primary focus is tyre recycling using Carbon Green’s proprietary technology which permits 100% recycling of tyres and waste rubber into commercially viable marketable commodities of steel, oil and CBp Carbon GreenTM, which is an industry tested and accepted substitute for replacement of carbon black in tyre and rubber manufacturing.
Carbon Green’s mission is to be the world leader in the recycling and reuse of waste materials to produce high quality environmentally friendly products and green energy.
The Carbon Green brand mark will feature on the nose and bargeboards of the Virgin Racing race cars next year in the team’s debut season of competition.
Alex Tai, Racing Team Principal for Virgin, said: “Carbon Green is a fantastic addition to our new partnership portfolio and we are looking forward to a close relationship in the years ahead.
“Virgin’s objective is to be at the forefront of developing environmentally friendly business strategies and the group values its association with like-minded partners.”
