During the economic meltdown, everyone is looking to save money, but economising doesn’t have to mean economy tyres.
Tyres are vital for safety, because they are the cars only point of contact with the road and the premium brands deliver the best quality.
However, while etyres have maintained their per centage share of the premium brand market, other leading high street depots have shifted away from top name brands to sell budget and mid-range products.
Premium sales have dropped by 9 per cent within the Fast Fit industry, while named budget and mid-range have crown collectively at an average of 15 per cent. Local independent garages have shown a similar trend.
While dealerships, appear to have moved away from premiums, mid range and named budget recommendations and are putting more emphasis, according to a survey by Encircle Marketing, featured in Tyre Trade News.
etyres continues to offer prices for premium brand tyres up to 40 per cent less than traditional high street tyres depots, because our mobile service means we keep our overheads low and pass the savings on to our customers.
