CCTV images of a man wanted in connection with a spate of tyres-slashing crimes have been released by police investigating the overnight crime spree.
Officers in Warminster are investigating after 36 car tyres were slashed and vehicle windows were damaged in the vandalism attacks in the early hours of 18 February.
Police believe the offender used a small sharp implement, possibly a Stanley knife, to cause the damage.
etyres fitters are regularly called out to customers whose car tyres have been slashed and punctured by mindless thugs.
It is small consolation, but at least etyres free mobile fitting service means customers don’t have the added problem of getting their car to a high street depot to get the tyre replaced.
Meanwhile, in Warminster the investigating officers are taking the tyre-slashing incidents very seriously and have released the CCTV images of the man they want to question.
Warminster police inspector Dave Minty condemned the vandals, saying the damage could have a ‘devastating’ effect on people’s lives.
Police are hoping to speak to the man in the CCTV images. If you can help call Warminster police on 0845 408 7000.
