We’ve all seen them, felt them and some of us have suffered the financial pain they cause to our cars – especially our tyres.
Now the Daily Mail wants to find the biggest and most dangerous one – we’re talking potholes.
They wreck our tyres and ruin our suspension, but now the newspaper wants to name and shame Britain’s worst offenders.
Pothole hotspots identified by AA patrols include Ashford in Middlesex, Actor in London, Ipswich, Felixstowe, Stowmarket, Botley and Hedge End in Southampton, Basingstoke, Bournemouth, Ringwood, the New Forest and Salisbury.
And remember when you’re out on the roads this Easter – especially if you’re driving in areas where you don’t know where the potholes are lurking – to be extra vigilant.
That innocent looking puddle created from a little April shower could actually be a massive, great pothole that places you and your vehicle at risk.
Meanwhile, if you want to join the Great British Pothole Hunt, the Daily Mail wants you to send in a picture of the pothole which gives you (and your car) most grief to firstname.lastname@example.org or PO Box 5000, Big Pothole, Alton, Hants, GU34 9BX. Make sure to include your phone number.
