A delighted etyres customer from Kingston has praised the UK’s leading online tyres company for its “amazing service” and for saving him more than £200.
Sebastian Goetz sent this email expressing how impressed he was with his local etyres branch: “Requested a puncture repair to a Goodyear runflat 245/40/18 on my BMW as per below. Was charged the full amount in case tyre could not be repaired, and fully expected that your fitter would push for a replacement tyre. Your head office contacted me to say that they couldn’t source a tyre in time for the appointment but that they would send a fitter anyway to see if the puncture could be repaired having first made exhaustive enquiries with Goodyear to ensure that this type of tyre was repairable in certain circumstances. The fitter, Chris, turned up on time, and was able to fix tyre explaining the process to my wife while he did the job. It took him nearly 20 minutes, not including travel time, and I couldn’t believe the charge was only £20. Saved me over £200 compared to replacement and the tyre should be good for another 10,000 miles at least. Any other company would have tried to sell me (or my wife) a replacement, as did the garage that diagnosed the puncture in the first place when the car was in for MOT.
