It’s been a long time coming, but the Brityrex 2010 exhibition – the UK’s biggest tyres show – got underway today with a big boost in visitor footfall.
The last show was back in 2007, but subsequent exhibitions have been put off because of the global recession.
But according to Tyres and Accessories magazine the first day showed a significant increase in visitor footfall compared to the same point in the last show.
And while exhibitors felt it was a storming start, the official statistics, which are due for release later today by the organisers ECI International, are expected to confirm these observations.
In the meantime, according to Tyres and Accessories, there has been a noticeable increase in both international visitors and exhibitors.
The magazine states: “In fact, not only are there more international companies in attendance, but these companies are also clearly investing more in their appearances, with Chinese manufacturers Techking and South China Tire and Rubber Ltd occupying some of the largest stands at the show.”
etyres wish everyone involved a very successful exhibition.
