Hunt for Tyres Slashers
Vehicle owners in a North Somerset village have become the latest victims of mindless tyres-slashing vandals.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information after four incidents during the last two weekends when cars had their tyres slashed while parked overnight.
PC Mark Cornish said: “These incidents are very frustrating for drivers and we are taking them very seriously.
“Anyone who has seen any suspicious activity in the area is urged to report it at their local police station. In the mean time we would urge residents to be vigilant and secure and park their vehicles in well lit areas.”
Our etyres fitters are regularly called out by the victims of these mindless tyre slashers and our mobile service can at least help to ease some of the inconvenience and expense, because we fit the replacements at a location of their choice - at home or work - and our prices are up to 40% lower than the leading high street chains.
Anyone with any information about the recent crimes in Pill should contact police in Portishead on 0845 456 7000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
