At least there’s one poll the Prime Minister Gordon Brown has come on top of – the least desirable pillion passenger most bikers would want onboard their machine.
According to the poll carried out by Bridgestone tyres, the Labour leader is ahead of motormouth Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson who came second.
He also came out on top of Glamour model-turned reality TV star Katie Price (aka Jordan) took third place.
The tyre manufacturer, which has a leading reputation for excellence in the bike tyre market, spoke to more than 1000 bikers to find out what issues are important to them and what problems they face on a day-to-day basis.
And on a more serious political note, more than 200 (22%) said that if they could petition the Government on a subject close to their hearts, it would be to ensure motorists who kill others through unsafe driving get harsher penalties, and definitely jail sentences.

Gordon Brown: 33.8%
Jeremy Clarkson: 27.4%
Piers Morgon: 11.4%
Hazel Blears: 9.6%
