The etyres Cardiff branch is puffed up with pride as their city gets set to host the final of the UEFA Champions League tonight when Juventus take on Real Madrid C.F. at the Millennium Stadium…which is currently known as the Principality Stadium for sponsorship reasons!
Never one to miss a photo opportunity, Gareth and Angela were up with the larks to avoid the traffic wardens and park their gleaming etyres van up outside Cardiff Castle to pose with this awesome blue dragon and giant replica trophy ahead of the match.
It’s been a proud week for etyres Cardiff, because the other day they were also called to the Millennium Centre (not to be confused with the Millennium Stadium, also known as the Principality Stadium, but which for purposes of tonights match, will be referred to by broadcasters as the National Stadium of Wales!) to replace two tyres for the internationally renowned opera singer Judith Howarth!
Sadly, the lovely soprano, who is rehearsing with the Welsh National Opera for Die Fledermaus, picked up two punctures due to nasty nails – but fortunately etyres Cardiff didn’t make a song and dance about it…!
As Ms Howarth tweeted on her Twitter page: “Thanks so much Gareth@etyres.co.uk. Putting on 2 new tyres at millennium centre. Fab service with humour and a smile”.
However, ‘never one to miss a photo opportunity, Garth…’ was a bit too shy on this occasion to ask Ms Howarth to pose for a picture in front of his van.
